Blandy exhibits work 'in series', that follows particular places through time. The work focuses on a tree and a river.
The tree, a Lime tree, is approached from one fixed point, and from a succession of sites in a circle round the tree. The river is seen from a short stretch alongside the bank. Each subject presents particular configurations that repeat themselves over time and allow comparisons over a day, a month, a year and over a number of years.
Each series is presented as a collection. Some is also shown in a slowly changing projection in the Dissenters Chapel. |
